Darragh Dzisiak
IP Articling Student
Overview
Darragh is an articling student at Heer Law. From her time spent in a STEM undergrad to law school and business school, Darragh understands how important intellectual property is at the intersection of all three areas. Darragh’s background in these areas allows her to take a wholistic view of client problems and provide creative solutions.
Legal Education
Darragh completed a BSc focusing on neuroscience and psychology at McMaster University and then went on to pursue a joint JD/MBA at Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, she studied at the Bader International Study Centre in England with a focus on international business law, sparking her passion for cross-border issues. Prior to joining Heer, Darragh focused on building client-focused skills in various emerging areas of IP and business by working as a student with organizations such as the Canadian Bar Association, Queen’s Conflict Analytics Lab, and Queen’s Business Law Clinic.
