About Us

Established in early 2014, Heer Law is one of a new generation of intellectual property law firms that has been built from the ground up with a preeminent focus on the business value of intellectual property.

We specialize in representing direct clients, most of whom are in Canada and the United States, as opposed to foreign associate work. We practice in all areas of intellectual property and intellectual property litigation, including representing Canadian clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in patent and design patent matters.

The firm provides great environment for the professional development of our students and associate lawyers. All of our associates have passed the patent agent exam and trademark agent exam on their first attempt after joining the firm.
